Our parish newsletter :: The Knapton News

If you’d like to…

What makes the Knapton News so special is that it’s by the residents, for the residents, of Knapton.

Ever since the first edition in the summer of 2002, the Knapton News has remained independent of the Church, the Parish Council and all other groups within the parish.  It provides a balanced, unbiased platform for everyone – groups and individuals alike – to let everyone else know what’s happening.

It highlights events that are taking place in the parish, local gardening tips, public services, village history, useful contact numbers and lots more, so if you have an event you’d like to make others aware of, or an article you’d like to share, please let us know and get the details to us by the publication deadline.

The Knapton News is extremely grateful for the sponsorship that it receives from Shell, Interconnector, Perenco and National Grid as it does not receive funding from any other source, and it is these funds which allow it to be published quarterly and delivered free to almost every household in the parish, by volunteers.   However, we are affected by rising costs in the same way that everyone else is, so donations are always welcome as we try to remain advert free.

Contact us if you’d like to receive it digitally via email in .pdf format.

  • submit an article or event
  • make a donation
  • request a new delivery of the magazine
  • arrange to receive a digital copy via email
  • tell us that you haven’t received your copy
  • volunteer to help with delivery
