Our first Parish Halloween Party is being organised for the 30th October between 4-6pm on the Wilds Way green.

Organised by the Parish Council’s event supremo Monika Kemp (who organised the incredible Children’s Platinum Tea Party) and Nicky Page (our amazing new councillor) are planning a fantastic couple of hours for kids (young and old) which include;

  • best carved pumpkin (under 10s & over 10s)
  • fancy dress competition (under 10s & over 10s)
  • Halloween themed games
  • Jacket Potatoes with baked beans and or cheese, and drinks

It promises to be great fun for all so note it on your calendar.

If you’d like to volunteer and help make this another fantastic Knapton event, please contact Monika on 0780 3000 350 or Nicky on 01263 722259

The Village Fête Committee put on an extraordinary fête this year, even by their amazing standards.

Steve & Sarah Hammond opened their garden to the village

With a mix of traditional children’s games, various stalls included bric-a-brac, wonderful home-made cakes,

A dream team committee made up of the Parish Council, the Church, the Fête Committee, the Village Hall Committee, MADRA, the History Club, Coffee Club, Knitters & Stitches group and a small army of volunteer residents worked together for months to put on three days of events to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll.
