Our Local Libraries
Did you know you can renew your library books online? You’ll need your library card and PIN.
Register for the Open Library service for easy extended access to the unstaffed library outside normal opening hours using your library card and PIN.
If you just need to drop a book off out of hours, use the letterbox to the left of the main entrance. Please make sure that books drop into the box completely and aren’t left sticking out.
Mobile Library Service
A mobile library service, run by Norfolk County Council, visits our village and parks up outside the church on Wednesdays at 2pm, every four weeks. Click on the image to view or download the timetable.
You can choose items or reserve them via the online catalogue for collection from a mobile library and you can return them to any branch library or mobile library in Norfolk. Items include:
- Fiction books for adults and children (book request 60p)
- Non-fiction books for adults and children (subject requests are free)
- Large print books (book request 60p)
- DVDs (a small charge)
- Audio books on CD and tape (a small charge)
Although overdue books are not charged for, a repeat loan charge may apply for hired items (eg DVDs, games, CDs, and spoken word formats) not returned on the due date. A replacement charge may apply if items are lost or stolen.
Mobile App link
Spydus Mobile is a free app for both Apple & Android which lets you access library services and manage your membership, any time.
Use the app to search for books, reserve items, download ebooks and eaudio books, keep track of your library account and manage the items you’ve got out on loan. You can also scan barcodes on books, CDs, DVDs or other items while you’re out and about, and then search for available copies at your local library – even if you’re not a member yet.
