SAM2 Data – The Street

These are the SAM2 speed camera data figures that were recorded when the camera was sited on The Street.
Each column represents a different siting and indicates which direction the camera was facing and when.

15,123 vehicles were recorded in 98 days, that’s 154 vehicles a day passing along The Street

The good news is that 14,452 of them (95.6%) were within the speed limit
That’s great, right?
Because it means that almost 19 in every 20 drivers respected our right to be safe on our roads…

Well, yes it is… but it also means that around one in twenty didn’t!!!

671 vehicles broke the speed limit on The Street in just over three months 
Which means that seven drivers broke the law in The Street every single day

And remember… we can only measure the speed of traffic travelling in one direction!
