Temporary Road Closure

Norfolk County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (the “Order”) (NTRO9344) affecting the Walcott Road from 367m east of its junction with Mill Common Road for 982m eastwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of Bacton to facilitate Norfolk County Council installation of road stud works, the Road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) for the duration of the works/period the closure is necessary which is anticipated to be between 19:00 and 06:00 from 21st to 24th March 2025 only whilst signs indicating closures are in place, but may continue to be closed/restricted until the 5th May 2025 where the closure is still required beyond the anticipated dates. Alternative route is via: Walcott Road, Coast Road, Church Road, Beach Road, Paston Road, Bacton Road, Mundesley Road, Stow Hill, Water Lane, Knapton Road, North Walsham Road, The Street, North Walsham By-pass, Yarmouth Road, Norwich Road, Wayford Road, Stepping Stone Lane, Stalham Road (East Ruston, Stalham, Dilham, Swafield, Paston, Smallburgh, Bacton, Brumstead, Mundesley, Worstead, Walcott, North Walsham, Knapton).
