There will be some works coming up at Madra which will mean the fields will be out of bounds for a short period.
On Monday 1st September we will be spraying the Madra playing fields with weed treatment. No Access will be allowed whilst the treatment is taking place and we will be closing the fields for 48hours to allow the treatment to dry. This should be safe after 24hours but I would like to air on the side of caution and ask that no one enters the field for at least 48 hours.
The play park and the PC playing field will Not be effected, this area will still be fully accessible.
We will be putting up a boundary and signs to warn anyone of the dangers.
This work is subject to the weather. So should this be called off I will inform you as soon as the decision is made.
