Meeting Rules

Meetings shall be open to the public unless their presence is prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted or for other special reasons. The public’s exclusion from part or all of a meeting shall be by a resolution which shall give reasons for the public’s exclusion 

Members of the public may make representations, answer questions and give evidence at a meeting which they are entitled to attend in respect of the business on the agenda. 3 minutes per person up to a maximum of 15 minutes in total

Parish Council Meetings

Parish Council meetings are usually start at 7:30pm on the 1st Tuesday of every other month, usually not in August and January.

The Agenda for Parish Council meetings is published on our website around a week or so before the date of the meeting and a printed hard copy is displayed on the Parish Council side of the village noticeboard on The Street.

​A draft form of the Meeting Minutes of Parish Council meetings is published on our website around a week or so after the date of the meeting and a printed hard copy is displayed on the Parish Council side of the village noticeboard on The Street. The drafted form of the Minutes will then be approved at the next meeting of the council.
